Here are a couple of images showing the lovely colours and textures of their plumage that cannot be fully appreciated in real life due to their small size and rapid movements. Interestingly, despite being in a tree full of \u00a0flowers, and spending most of their time feeding on nectar they were still actively gleaning for insects and spiders under lichens on the branches.
