After last weeks excursion to Black & White Wildlife photography<\/a>, this week we\u2019re back to normal with bird photography. This selection of images was made on the same walk around the base track of Mount Maunganui in August 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While none of the images are especially remarkable it is a nice record of the common species and photo opportunities on a short walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The photos are shown in the sequence they were taken while walking clockwise around the Mount base track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have written in past about a number of similar walks and shared photos of a number of species, including Reef Heron<\/a>, as well as some landscape photos<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The species in this series are the most commonly seen ones and can almost be relied on to make a photographable appearance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
