Often it is just a matter of not gripping too tightly as this distorts the filter ring and jams the threads. On this occasion I tried all my usual tricks, most of which are outlined in this <a href=\"https:\/\/fstoppers.com\/diy\/10-ways-remove-stuck-lens-filter-420787\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">post from Fstoppers<\/a>. None worked and I don\u2019t have a filter wrench so I had to figure out another plan.
