The 50th Anniversary edition of Dunedin Festival Photography results were recently announced and I was honoured to have the above image announced as the champion image in the Nature Projected Images category. I regularly get notifications from the Photographic Society of New Zealand about upcoming competitions but have never entered. For some reason this competition caught my eye and having spent some time photographing in the Dunedin area over the past year I was tempted to enter so pulled 4 recent images from my archive and sent them off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results were announced at a livestream on Sunday 8 May so it was quite exciting. Of my images, one was accepted, 2 received Honours and this image was selected as Champion. It was great to watch the presentation and see all the lovely images, many by photographers I know and whose work I admire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
