{"id":2786,"date":"2015-10-10T17:42:50","date_gmt":"2015-10-10T04:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tonywhitehead.com\/wildlight\/?p=2786"},"modified":"2015-10-10T17:43:34","modified_gmt":"2015-10-10T04:43:34","slug":"photo-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tonywhitehead.com\/wildlight\/archives\/2786","title":{"rendered":"Photo chain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As Edin and I spend a lot of time photographing together, I quite often get photos of her taking photos and we can make a short photo chain of a photo and photo of the photo being taken. At Paradise Harbour the chain went one step further with Beverly Haas catching a photo of me taking a photo of Edin taking a photo of a Brown Skua scavenging a Blue-eyed Shag.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t realise I had been a subject in the chain until Beverly told me later and asked for an email to send the picture too. She has kindly agreed to her image being used in this week&#8217;s post and it is a lovely reminder for me of the special time we spent capturing the birds of Paradise Harbour. Some of our special moments were when Edin and I had the bow or aft deck to ourselves and were silently absorbed in observing the birds and making images. On this occasion we were cold after a Zodiac cruise and it was snowing on us so the sensible choice would have been a coffee or hot chocolate in the Chart Room but the opportunity to see the birds up against the cliff was just to good to be missed.
