I decided to travel light with the fuji X100 and iPhone only. I knew I would regret leaving the 500mm and D800 and was reminded when I saw a Reef heron and a Kingfisher which would have made great subjects. The Pohutukawas weren&#8217;t blooming too much yet but there were some good banks of mixed flowers and some decent clouds to play with landscapes despite our midday timing.
