My Black and White image of the Ferns reclaiming the streets of Hardwicke has proven popular since being being recognised in the Landscape category of the New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Year 2016 competition. Being used as the cover image for New Zealand Doctor magazine increased exposure and I have had a number of print orders so I have spent some time over the past couple of days printing and packing prints for delivery. Orders have ranged from A4 to A3+ and the larger the print the better it looks in my opinion. I am looking forward to getting the A3+ print that I have made for myself framed.<\/p>\n

New Zealand Doctor 28 September 2016<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As I wrote in my post about printing<\/a>, there is something special about a physical print that you can hold in your hand or appreciate in a frame. One of the highlights of being selected as a finalist in the NZ Geo competition was knowing that I would see my image printed large at the exhibition. To see a large print is something special in this day of images on LCD screens and it nice to see that others appreciate it to the extent of investing in a handmade print of the image.<\/p>\n

To simplify the ordering process I have added a gallery to the Art Prints<\/a> page that can be used to directly order a print with PayPal. Alternatively just email me your requirements and I can give you details for a bank transfer payment. Prints start at NZ$55 for an A4 with A3 being NZ$100 and A3+ (Super B) being NZ$110. These prices include packing and domestic delivery with international delivery being an additional NZ$15.<\/p>\n
