Our week in Auckland gave me a chance to again enjoy the fun of street photography with my Fuji X100. Having always admired the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Garry Winogrand, Lee Friedlander, Joel Meyerowitz and Jay Maisel, it was great to have some time exploring the shapes, reflections\u00a0 and crowds of the city. It is interesting how easy it is\u00a0 to go unnoticed in the city and as a result get some close-up and candid images. The Fuji is a quirky camera but I love it’s small size, lens, controls and viewfinder and find its quirks relatively easy to work around resulting in it being the camera I have the most fun with. As a wildlife and nature photographer, my favorite thing about cities, usually, is leaving them, but with the Fuji it can be a bit of fun to be in the urban jungle too.<\/p>\n
