In conjunction with the touring Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, Rotorua Museum have organised a photography competition focusing on regional wildlife and nature. My daughter, Edin, and I have spent the past couple of weekends taking photographs with a view to entering. We have both just been advised that we were selected among the top 5 finalists in our respective age groups. Her entry of a Tui in Cherry blossom was taken in our garden and I captured my Scaup taking off on Lake Rotorua.
