Having had some time to work through my images from our trip to Port Macquarie earlier this year, I have updated my Australian Birds Gallery. I was a great trip and Edin and I enjoyed early morning starts each day and managed a couple of hours of photography before breakfast. The gardens at the resort we stayed at were well vegetated to attract birds and we managed some lovely shots before everyone else had woken and got going. Our regular evening trip was down to the town waterfront where we got to know the routine of the pelicans and local dog-walkers who were bemused by us with our big lenses aimed at pelicans every evening.
