These resources are useful for those with an interest in improving their knowledge and understanding of the seabirds of the Hauraki Gulf. Despite being on the doorstep of New Zealand’s largest city, seabirds of the Hauraki Gulf are largely out of sight and so out of mind. By improving knowledge and appreciation of these birds we can limit our impact on their lives. They evolved in this environment over millions of years and our recent arrival has had massive impacts on them.
